Our Coaches:

Thea Torgersen-
Thea began rhythmic gymnastics and ballet at the age of 4 and was a competitive rhythmic gymnast for 11 years. Thea competed as a level 10 gymnast at USA National Championships.
Thea began coaching in 2008 and opened Global Rhythmic Academy in 2011. Thea was a national level rhythmic judge until 2016. She served as a member of the USA gymnastics national event staff for the USA Championships and is the Competition Director for Global Rhythmic Invitational. In addition to rhythmic gymnastics training Thea has trained in ballet, modern and lyrical dance. Thea teaches flexibility to dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters.
Allison Haney-
Allison has trained in rhythmic gymnastics since age 4 until level 9 and competed in rhythmic gymnastics at local, state and regional events Alli has experience teaching all levels of rhythmic gymnastics from beginner to competitive level. Allison also trained in ballet and figure skating. Alli is currently a student at SRJC.
Our instructors are current USA Gymnastics members with USAG Safety Certification, background checks, and SafeSport certification. Our instructors participate in ongoing education about training methods, sports psychology and nutrition, rhythmic gymnastics code of points, and remain up to date on USA Gymnastics policies.
